About the holiday home in Gelderland
We would like to welcome you in our Bed & Breakfast in Aalst in the province of Gelderland. The detached accommodation on the island of Bommelerwaard is located in a former candy store with parking space in front of the door and a private terrace. The accommodation is equipped with all modern conveniences. Perfect for a romantic weekend away with your loved one or a midweek vacation with the whole family.
The vacation home is fully furnished and has two double rooms and one single room. Furthermore, you will find a complete kitchen, washing machine with drying rack, a cozy pellet stove, comfortable underfloor heating and a neat toilet and shower room. We take care of your stay with a large and small towel, soap, bedding and toilet paper.

This makes the location of the holiday home very suitable for enthusiastic cyclists and walkers. Our story
The name of our Bed & Breakfast "Oan d'n Kikkerdijk" is based on the booklet "Kikkerdorp en de Kikkerdorpers" which was written in the beginning of the last century by ir. A van Emmenes. In the booklet the social abuses in the village Aalst in the province of Gelderland are denounced. Kikkerdorp, or Frog village, has become a kind of nickname for Aalst.
These social wrongdoings have now disappeared, but the quietness, the beautiful surroundings and the hospitable people have remained! At Maasdijk 109 we, the Cornelissen family, welcome you to our Bed & Breakfast. Both the B&B itself and the surroundings are steeped in history.
